1. Acceptance of Terms
By accessing or using BuckHound ("the Service"), you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service. If you do not agree to these terms, you may not use the Service.
BuckHound is operated by Autonomy AI, LLC ("we," "us," or "our").
2. Service Description
BuckHound helps you discover deals and save items from supported retailers (Amazon, eBay, Newegg). Features vary by retailer:
Price Tracking (Amazon, eBay, Newegg):
- • Price history and tracking over time
- • Price drop alerts when targets are met
- • Save items to your watchlist
Link-only Saves (other retailers):
- • Save the raw link as a bookmark
- • Open the product directly when you tap it
- • No price tracking or alerts
No predictions: BuckHound shows observed price data only. We do not predict future prices or provide financial advice.
Currently Free: BuckHound currently has no subscriptions, in-app purchases, or paid features. We generate revenue through affiliate commissions.
3. Using BuckHound
No Account Required: You can browse deals and use basic features without creating an account.
Optional Account: Creating an account enables watchlists, price alerts, and personalized recommendations.
Age Requirement: You must be at least 18 years old to use BuckHound.
4. Acceptable Use
You agree not to:
- Use the Service for any illegal or unauthorized purpose
- Attempt to scrape, reverse engineer, or access the Service through automated means
- Interfere with or disrupt the Service or servers
- Share your account credentials with others
5. Affiliate Disclosure & Neutrality
BuckHound earns revenue through affiliate links. When you purchase products through our links, we may receive a commission at no additional cost to you.
Affiliate Neutrality
Commissions never influence which items are displayed, how they are ordered, or which alerts you receive. Price context is based on observed data — not affiliate payout rates.
6. Third-Party Content & Retailers
Retailer Links: BuckHound contains links to third-party retailers. We are not responsible for the content, products, or practices of these retailers.
Price Data: Prices displayed are for informational purposes and may not reflect real-time pricing. Always verify the final price on the retailer's website.
Product Information: Product descriptions, images, and ratings are sourced from retailers and may be inaccurate or outdated.
7. Data Accuracy & Disclaimers
Price Data: We strive to provide accurate observed price information, but prices and availability can change rapidly.
No Warranty: The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind.
Liability: BuckHound is not liable for any damages resulting from use of the Service.
8. Termination & 9. Governing Law
We reserve the right to suspend or terminate access to the Service at any time for violation of these Terms. You may stop using the Service at any time.
These Terms are governed by the laws of Massachusetts, United States.
